Based in Carlsbad, Ca. Waters Building Company builds new homes and ADU’s as well as complete renovations of historical or classic homes, exterior living areas, additions out and up; and not only kitchen and bath remodels, but reconfiguration of floorplans entailing structural modifications. We also offer construction and estate management.

Our specialty is custom carpentry with emphasis on finish work. Our finish projects include, but are not limited to building custom doors, decorative ceilings including beams and columns, custom built - ins / closets, accent walls, and the installation of all trim work. On the exterior our siding / trim work installation is phenomenal, no matter the type of material. We can assist in the design and proudly build your vision.

With the combination of our finely tuned finish carpentry skills and a solid background of custom home framing and concrete pours our company can also build you the finest deck, pergola, gazebo, and cabanas incorporating lighting, wet bars, and gas grills. We take extra measures to ensure the structure is built to last.

Owner/operator, Nathan Waters, began his construction career working for his father in high school and was fortunate to work with his uncles, brother, and cousins as the trade of building was passed down through the generations. He was involved with many custom home framing projects , before heavy concrete pours, and then fine finish carpentry, while remodeling homes along the way learning while performing all trades and at an early age. Nate, as he goes by on the site also expanded his knowledge by becoming an indoor air quality consultant, mold inspector and mold remediation contractor after performing home/building inspections. And began his own construction and home inspection companies in 2004. Waters Building Company was incorporated in 2020.
